Human Resource talent service for senior-level project
and interim assignments expands staff
OBERON NAMES TOM WENTZEL, MINDE FREDERICK AND
SUE BECKER DALY TO KEY POSITIONS

MINNEAPOLIS – June 12, 2006 – Eight weeks after launching its Human Resource services for both senior-level project and interim assignments, Oberon is expanding its staff. Today it named Tom Wentzel, Minde Frederick and Sue Becker Daly as Business Development Managers to serve both clients and HR consultants, according to CJ DuBé, Managing Director of Oberon. In making the announcement, DuBe noted that Oberon’s rapidly expanding staff reflects the HR talent needs in the marketplace: 50-percent of the Fortune 50 alone will lose half of its senior management to retirement by 2011. DuBé says that human resources, like finance and accounting, is a field where the demand for talent is well ahead of supply, and that Oberon’s own growth rests with key players like those recently hired.

Tom Wentzel brings 16 years of major HR consulting firm experience to his new role. Working in New York, New Jersey and Minneapolis, his consulting experience ranged from benefits and compensation, to mergers and acquisitions, to client management. “I made the move from the HR consulting world to Oberon to help build an exciting business, while expanding my reach in the Twin Cities HR community,” Wentzel says. “Built on the SALO platform, Oberon provides the perfect environment to match highly skilled HR professionals with companies in need.”

Minde Frederick established her career goal in Human Resources early in college and spent eight years in HR in Minneapolis-St. Paul, working as a generalist in a variety of industries (with a year off to teach English in rural Japan). “It’s exciting to be a part of this new company,” Frederick says. “Everyone that I encounter at Oberon — staff, consultant and client — is at the top of their game.”

Sue Becker Daly is a long-time veteran of the permanent search industry and has entrepreneurial experience running her own business and that of her family’s. “About her new role at Oberon, Becker Daly notes, “I love this business. It’s my passion,” she says. “Working as a ‘talent agent’ for A-players in this market is an ideal situation.”

“We’re delighted to have Tom, Minde and Sue join us at Oberon,” DuBé says. “They all have the experience and skill sets to help companies learn to run leaner and smarter in key HR positions,” she notes. “As part of the Oberon team, they will provide just-in-time contract solutions, offering the most qualified senior-level candidates at affordable rates.”

About Oberon
Senior level Human Resource talent like other top talent in the Twin Cities market is in short supply. Oberon was created as a SALO affiliate to help fight the HR talent wars and is already helping companies realize significant cost-savings for HR experts who previously were being sought by big search agencies demanding even bigger fees. Faced with a myriad of HR challenges, from systems to benefits, against a depleted talent pool and a changing economy, companies are learning that they can run leaner and smarter with an HR consultant from Oberon. Led by CJ DuBé, with more than 20 years in HR, Oberon can provide just-in-time contract solutions offering the most qualified senior level candidates at affordable rates from a well-established network of HR stars.
