MINNEAPOLIS, MN, AUGUST 15, 2008 – SALO, LLC has been named one of the Twin Cities’ “Best Places to Work” in the annual survey published by the Minneapolis / St. Paul Business Journal. A first-time nominee, SALO received the award as a medium-sized company.
The Business Journal ranked 45 winning companies in small, medium and large categories. To be eligible for the overall project, companies had to have offices in the 11-county metro area and at least 10 full-time employees, or be based in Minnesota with at least 1,000 full-time employees.
Nearly 250 companies participated in this year’s “Best Places to Work” competition, with 158 qualifying. To qualify, a certain percentage of employees had to complete an online survey, rating their employers’ work environment, people practices, personal growth and development opportunities, how things work day-to-day, and how the company embraces innovations and new ideas. Profiles of The Business Journal “Best Places to Work” winners are featured in the August 15 issue of The Business Journal.
