Minde Frederick has a passion for human resources and a love of adventure. Joining Oberon’s team lets her bring those two interests together.

Minde set her career sights on HR in college and, with a one-year exception, has been in the field ever since. Although her career direction has remained constant, Minde has wandered geographically. A Twin Cities native, she attended the University of Alaska on a National Merit Scholarship and graduated from the University of New Mexico. Back in the Twin Cities, she spent eight years as an HR Generalist in a variety of industries. Then Minde took a hiatus for another adventure: a year teaching English in rural Japan. During that year, she traveled throughout Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, China, Australia, and New Zealand.

Back home, Minde took an HR contract but looked for her next adventure. “It had to be just the right circumstance,” she says. Meeting CJ DuBe´ and learning about Oberon offered the perfect opportunity. “I’m promoting something I know — human resources,” Minde says. “It’s exciting to be a part of this,” she says. “I know that everyone I encounter here — staff, consultant, and client — is going to be at the top of their game.”
