Michelle Klein
Director of First Impressions
As an Assistant to the Director and a Manager of non-profit boards, Michelle Klein has spent over a decade in the non-profit arts sector. Performing the roles of project director and event manager, she has worn a multitude of hats, learning to orchestrate rapidly-shifting content and priorities with speed, dexterity and a warm touch.
In her former role as Manager, Executive Affairs and Assistant to the Director at Walker Arts Center, Michelle was responsible for the management, administration and direction of operations within the Director’s office. Prior to her work at Walker Art Center, Michelle served as Assistant to the Director at the Museum of Contemporary Art in San Diego. Before that she was the assistant to the General Manager of the Salon Division of Elizabeth Arden in New York City.
Michelle is happiest working in a fast-paced, people-sensitive and culture-centric organization, where the unexpected is commonplace and challenge is creatively embraced. “I love a good story and SALO, Oberon and NumberWorks have an exciting narrative,” says Michelle. “This company is a place where associates, staff and clients are the focus, and change is encouraged – the perfect recipe for a great story of possibility and success.”
As Director of First Impressions, Michelle provides overall support to our entire organization. One of the first staff members to greet visitors, she also develops and maintains our associate extranet and leads our associate community involvement program. Michelle is excited to be an ambassador of the firm and help promote our brand throughout the business community.
Michelle graduated from Ithaca College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts. She continues to stay connected to contemporary art and remains a stalwart Yankees fan. When not running around the lakes, she can be caught roaming the farmer’s market and sharing silly jokes with her kids.
