Brianna Herman believes “people rarely succeed at anything unless they have fun doing it.” And in her career so far, Brianna has definitely made enjoying work and having fun a priority.

Brianna began her career at Ernst and Young, where she worked in Assurance and Advisory Risk Services. There, she assessed the integrity of financial statement accounts through substantive and general audit procedures. She also performed process walkthroughs for financial and operational processes. Ready for a new challenge, Brianna assumed the role of General Accountant for another firm and created, compiled and evaluated monthly and annual financials. In this role, Brianna also assisted in the creation of specialized reports and performed month end close procedures.

Once Brianna was introduced to SALO, Oberon and NumberWorks, she was amazed by the firm’s vibrant culture and exuberant, team atmosphere. Immediately, she knew the firm would be a great fit, and it was the perfect time for a fun, new challenge. “I’ve been looking forward to working with a smaller company, and once I saw SALO, Oberon and NumberWorks, I just knew it was the right place for me. I’m really excited to understand the business as a whole and absorb as much knowledge as possible.”

Brianna is a graduate of Concordia College, Moorhead with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting. She enjoys singing at church, running, going to the lake in the summer, and spending time with family and friends.
